Walk In the Woods section 1

Nature is infinitely more complex than we can imagine. As inhabitants of a tiny planet (a small blue dot) in vast space, our limited awareness can only identify fragments that suggest greater wholeness. Painting is a physical way to record and to communicate that fragmented experience. Abstraction connects thinking and feeling--a non linear way of seeing the big picture.   


Walk In The Woods section 1 12"x57"x1.5" overall sections 1 and 2, 12"x105"x1.5". This painting mirrors the experience of walking through trees, oil mixed media on bolted wood cradled boards.  From HUM, solo exhibit, Epperson Gallery, Fall 2025
